Kamukha mo si Paraluman..

I borrowed my brother’s cellphone which has hundreds of songs because I wanted to listen to the song of Aldred Gatchalian’s “Mahiwagang Pag-ibig” because it suddenly popped up on my mind and I found it beautiful since then. After that, I listened to the song of Alex Band of The Calling which he collaborated with the famous guitarist, Carlos Santana entitled, “Why don’t you and I?”. I scrolled up until I went up to the letter A’s composed of the titte of the songs starting with A obviously and I saw this very incredible,spectacular, magnificent, well-written and unforgettable song of the famous band in 90’s the Eraserheads. if you were a Batang 90’s before, you might know them.

I was like a parrot then playing again and again their intro because it was really awesome. the way Buddy Zabala played his bass guitar, how Raimund Marasigan beats drums and the way Marcus Adoro gets along the guitar and finally, the way  the lead vocalist Ely Buendia sing the first line of the song, “Kamuha mo si Paraluman…” Paraluman refers to a filipina who is beautiful and has a good hear above all.

Paraluman then was a FAMAS-award winning actress and was a major contarct star of Sampaguita Pictures. She died last April 27,2009 at the age of 85 due to cardiac-arrest.
